1992 NORTH DAKOTA

With clustered cattails going to seed near-by, a blue-winged teal methodically cleans and grooms his wing feathers. Note the delicate blue coloring of his head feathers in this hand-painted MILFORD. A swirling ripple effect on the water signifies the constant movement as the teal preens. The surface also picks up muted reflections from the duck and his immediate surroundings.
