Puppy photos of our lovable golden retriever Molly served as reference for this hand-painted MILFORD cachet. A wide-eyed, floppy-eared Molly props herself up with paws on the back of a Canada goose decoy. In the distance, a trio of geese skims over the grassy marsh.

The stamp, which also pictures a young golden, is canceled with a Tacoma, Washington postmark. Serial numbers used were 4141 to 4390.
