1992 ALASKA

A pair of canvasback ducks swim in a remote cove off the rugged coast. The male has just sipped a small gulp of the icy water and now throws his head back to swallow. An Alaskan brown bear watches the pair intently as he prowls along the shore.

A fine JuIy 1st First Day cancel ties the stamps to the cover. There were 209 MILFORDS produced for this issue.
