A beautiful Columbia postal cancellation ties the new stamp to this cover. It is a large, clear bullseye with an unusual and distinctive double border.

The hand-painted MILFORD cachet shows a pair of

buffleheads as they fly amid the cypress stumps of a coastal swamp. A heron fishes in the shallow water. Note how the background color of my cachet is coordinated with that of the stamp.
