1992 TEXAS

In a Texas ravine at dawn, two Canada geese awake to another day. The male stands vigilant and the female flexes her wings on the shallow water. The steep slopes and sheer rocks provide for the funneling of water to the ravine's bottom. Hand painting of the cachet enables a close coordination to the colors in the new stamp.

The stamp was postmarked in Austin and serial numbers used are 139-000431--3 to 139-000640-3 except for 440-3.
