1994 MINNESOTA

The beautiful pictorial postmark of a flying wedge of geese is once again used on this year's MILFORD. It is such a wonderful cancel for a migratory bird cover. The hand-painted cachet features a large frontal rendition of a swimming ringneck duck. Note the feather and eye detail that hand painting achieves. Serial numbers used were 161 to 440 (nice low numbers) except for 177 to 300 and 381 to 390 for a very limited edition of only 140 covers produced.
