1994 MONTANA

A pair of American wigeon rest on the quiet surface of a prairie "pot hoIe" in this hand-painted MILFORD cachet. Their rust and brown feathers are reflected the shallow, motionless water. Thick reeds provide protective cover for the two ducks.

The new stamp has a First Day of Issue postmark the Montana State Capitol Station in Helena. Serial numbers used were 29-011341 to 29-011480.
