1994 NORTH DAKOTA

A pair of Canada geese hunker down amid the vines and pumpkins of a Dakota field. The bright orange spheres provide eye-catching color in a scene otherwise dominated by subtle earth tones. At this time of year flocks of geese nationwide make their way south on their annual migration.

The postmark is from Bismarck and 140 were produced. Serial numbers used were 140961 to 141100.
