Buffleheads by Mark Bray
Fred's Anecdotal Note
1995 PENNSYLVANIA
Dawn has just broken on a mountain lake high in Pennsylvania's Allegheny Mountains. Rays from the morning sun result in rose colored reflections on the surface. A pair of bufflehead ducks take a briek swim amid the wind-generated ripples that add to the visual pleasure of the pinkish reflections. You can almost sense the high altitude on this hand-painted MILFORD cachet.
A vcry nice postmark from Marshalls Creek, PA ties the stamps to the cover and only 178 were produced.
