Purple wisteria and distinctive palmetto are the plantlife that set the southern tone for this hand-painted MILFORD Cover. A black lab watches intently from the bogs as a widgeon swims on a watery expanse in a Swampy wetlands habitat. The cachet coordinates nicely with the image on the new $5.50 Georgia Duck stamp.

Only 140 of these MILFORDS were produced with serial

numbers 19380 to 19560 except numbers 19421 to 19460 were not used. They are tied to the cover with a magenta

postmark from Stone Mountain.
