1996 CONNECTICUT

The setting is a small inlet along the Atlantic and a pair of old squaw ducks swim in the protected waters. The surface reflects the lavendar blues and pinks of the sky and the cachet of this handpainted cover is nicely coordinated with the color scheme of the stamp. An Eastern Cottontail sits in the dunes and watches the ducks pass by.

OnIy 150 covers were produced for this limited edition with stamp serial numbers 10831 to 10980. The postmark is from New Milford.
