A close-up manger scene gives this hand painted cachet a traditional season look. Barnyard animals surround the wooden cradle. A mother ewe and her lamb join a donkey as they peer with tranqull curiosity at the newbom babe. A white dove has flown down from the rafters and has perched on the plank sideboard. Straw covers the stable floor and is the matting that the baby lies on. And in the distance, the three Wisemen on their camels are nearing their journey's end.
