Cover Announcement 

It is a pleasure to announce what will become the classic cover for the Disney characters as presented on Collins cachets. At this time, I'm happy to offer Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Gooff. The trio appear together on the new stamp, so I thought a whimsical scene of the three cartoon pals together would be the best way to present the wonderful art of Disney.

Mickey is preparing lunch, and, as he drops a meatball into the pan, Donald steps back not wanting to be splattered. Goofy, flanking Mickey on the other side, just waits in eager anticipation. It's a very colorful hand painted First Day Cover with a "feel-good" cachet.

As my continuing tribute to the Art of Disney and the positive impact it has had on the children of the world, I'm pleased to present Mickey Mouse and Friends. I expect this set to sell out very quickly, so be sure to respond in a timely manner. You might want to consider an extra or two of the covers in the marvelous individually watercolored series.
