The individual flower renditions on the four stamps could definitely be considered delicate and almost exquisite. With their colorful blooms encased by complimentary green borders, this picturesque quartet was a perfect issue to usher in the new spring. A pair, the yellow lady's slipper and the wild pink, is officially canceled "First Day of Issue" at Miami, Florida. The covers were then flown and driven to Plant City, Florida for a very nice related unofficial. At Plant City, a hand cancel was annlied to the opposite pair, the spreading pogonia and the Pacific calypso.

The hand painted cachet certainly adds much to this already beautiful cover. Done in contrasting shades of pinks and greens, it presents a very appealing FOC for you to consider adding to your collection.
