Christmas Reindeer 2012

One of Santa's reindeer prances through the Arctic snow in this final 2012 Christmas cover. The individually hand painted scene is encircled by a woven-vine wTeath frame. The antlered deer has a halter around his head and a sleigh-bell  harness. The animated pose suggests that he is eagerly anticipating the long journey ahead. At the lower left on the border is a beautiful red poinsettia.

The new stamp at the upper right shows four of Santa's team soaring through a Christmas sky with crescent moon. By design, the cachet is a perfect complement to this final 2012 holiday issue.
