When the last Harry Potter book was released, eleven million copies sold in the United States in the first twenty-four hours. Adults of all ages from young to old were captivated by Harry and his friends as the forces of good (of which they were a part) took on the forces of evil. The setting was the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where Potter and his friends are students.

The main villain is the Dark Wizard Lord Voldemort whose quest is to become immortal, to conquer both the wizarding world and the non-magical humans, and to destroy all those who stand in his way. Adventures abound in a fantasy that is a mystery and thriller all rolled into one very enjoyable story. Students, teachers, and an assortment of other good and evil characters interact in a tale that is sure to hold your attention.

My individually hand painted cachets use philatelic art to enhance the characters shown on the new stamps. All of my children and grandchildren love the books, and this set is dedicated to them and to the wonderment that literature can provide to the human spirit. The cachets are also a testament to the genius and creativeness of author J. K. Rowling and a lasting hobby thank-you tribute to her for bringing Harry, his friends, and their adversaries to life in page after incredible page.

I know that you will really enjoy these Collins individually hand painted cachets as you complete this set that indeed stimulates and entertains the imagination. Over the years, some of my sets such as the Indian Dances, Submarines, Early Locomotives, Wonders of America, Lewis and Clark and others have flown to "sold out" status in a matter of weeks. Don't miss out on this incredible set. All orders will be on a firstcome, first-served basis. The magical story of Harry Potter told by U.S. stamps and hand painted cachets.
