To complete my cachet history of Florida from the landing of Ponce de Leon five hundred years ago to the present day, I pay tribute to the world famous theme parks that bring, so much joy, pleasure, and happiness to thousands upon thousands of visitors. From the African Plains and Bavarian oom-pah bands of Busch Gardens to the dolphins and orcas of Seaworld to Space Mountain, Epcot, and the magical mouse of Disney, these major attractions provide special adventures that captivate children of all ages from two to a hundred and two.

My hand painted cachet has a leaping whale, a twisting roller coaster, a fairyland castle, a mouse named Mickey, and the universal wildlife symbol of the Sunshine State —the pink flamingo.

This is the final First Day Cover in my tribute to La Florida. To be perfectly honest. I'm delighted with this five cover set and must say that the series has exceeded my expectations.
