Thanksgivukkah

The theme for this year's new Hanukkah stamp was suggested by my friend Myron, and I must say it resulted in a lovely and unusual hand painted cachet. Thanksgivukkah is a holiday name given to the convergence of the first day of Hanukkah and the American celebration of Thanksgiving. Boston Magazine reported that the once-in-a-lifetime concept was embraced around. the United States. The White House recognized Thanksgivukkah at its official Hanukkah reception on December 5th.

Food recipes for the special holiday included turkey with challah apple stuffing, sweet potato lakes, pumpkin kugel, and cranberry applesauce. The Manischevv-itz company ran a multimillion dollar ad campaign encouraging consumers to celebrate Thanksgivukkah.

My individually hand painted cachets capture this very rare holiday occurrence by showing the foods most often mentioned in Thanksgivukkah recipes. It really turned out great, and I can promise this will be the one and only time such a Collins cachet will be produced. Thanksgivukkah is now ready. Collins #X5201 — $14.00.
