White Egret Amid Water Lilies

This beautiful individually hand painted cachet continues my mini-set of four for the lovely water lilies set. The wildlife creature I chose for this watercolor creation is the white egret. In addition to the snow white wading bird, a dragonfly is seen fluttering at the lower right.

At the center of the cachet are several very large blooms of the aquatic plants. It is the deep purple water lily stamp on this cover. Although delicate looking, the flowers are robust and sturdy. They bloom in the United States from spring to fall. Water lilies with white egret — Collins #L5402 — are now ready at $15.00.
