Montgomery "Scotty" Scott is a fictional character in the "Star Trek" series and was played by Chris Doohan. He was cast as the "Enterprise" engineer on the recommendation of director James Goldstone who had worked with him before. Doohan himself chose Scotfy's first name Montgomery, in honor of his materual grandfarther James Montgomery. He decided to use a Scottish accent because he thought the Scots made excellent engineers.

Scotty held the rank of lieutenant commander and served as the Starship's second officer and chief engineer. His technical knowledge and innovative thinking enabled him to formulate unconventional and effective solutions to dire and dangerous problems and situations.

The individually hand painted cachet shows Scotty in front of the transporter system which inspired the catchphrase "Beam me up, Scotty." Montgomery Scott is now ready. Collins #G5602 at $15.00.
