This is the first Collins cachet in the Magic mini-set. Each stamp will deal with a different aspect of this entertaining art form. This new stamp focuses on transformation" which in this context means changes in appearance or form. Magicians routinely provide illusions of transformations such as changing the queen of hearts to the ace of spades - or. in the case of this cachet, changing colored scarves into white doves.

As with all my cachets, each one is individually hand painted. A confident performer extends his hands displaying two fluttering doves which seconds before held two multi-colored scarves. Amazing! The new stamp which pictures a dove, is canceled on the day of issue at Las Vegas, Nevada.
