This is the first of a mini-set of four and is a beautiful nature first day cover. The individually hand painted cachet features a crimson red cardinal that is really magnificent against the winter sky. He perches on a snow-laden branch as flakes fill the air around him.

Wildlife is one of my favorite topics, and I sincerely believe that the four covers for this Songbird mini-set will be the best produced by any cachetmaker. The new stamp has the first day of issue bullseye postmark. I'm pleased to offer the Northem Cardinal - Collins Number F5801 at $16.50
