Bugs watches as a batter who resembles Joltin' Joe DiMaggio lifts a deep fly ball to the outfield. His eyes follow the flight of the ball to see if it clears the fence. Bugs' palms face upward in the universal gesture of something yet to be decided - in this case maybe it's a home run or maybe it's just a long out. The catcher also follows the ball hoping it stays in the park.
