1990 LOUISIANA

It is early morning on the Gulf Coast and the sky and water blend as one. A pelican perches on a piling and watches as a solitary green winged teal flies past the waterfront boats moored to the weathered docks.

Serial numbers on the Louisiana Duck stamps were 184021 to 184283. Not used were numbers 055, 056, 057, 058, 063, 064, 094, 100, 101, 107, 122, 126, 127, and 163. Net number of covers produced for this issue was 248.

The First Day cancel from Baton Rouge is a good one and ties all the stamps to the cover very nicely.
