1990 NORTH DAKOTA

This six dollar North Dakota stamp afforded the opportunity for a different type cachet. A black labrador, his coat reflecting the golden glow from the roaring fire, lays on a rug in a cozY hunting Iodge. A string of decoys can be seen in the corner and above them an old banjo hangs on the log wall. The whole room is cast in beautiful firelight.
