1990 DELAWARE

A green-winged teal glides in for a landing amidst a bed of lily pads. A painted turtle, which was basking on a welthered log, now is startled by the incoming teal. Cattails, reeds, and waterlilies provide a perfect habitat and a golden summer sky reflects on the still surface.

The stamps are canceled by a Milford, Delaware postmark. There were 286 covers produced for this issue.
