1990 ALASKA

An attractive "o1d squaw" which is a member of the pintail family of ducks, swims serenely on icy Alaskan waters. For the first time a human makes an appearance in a MILFORD cachet as an Eskimo paddles his kayak in the background. A totem, hand carved tribute to the animal spirits, adds color and enhances the theme of this striking First Day Cover.
