1990 KANSAS

Two plump Woodducks huddle in the dry crevice of an old tree. Outside of their snug sanctuary, raindrops form ringlets on the surface of the woodland pond. I am especially pleased with the mood created by the lavendar shadings and the over-all composition of stamps, cancel, and cachet.

Serial numbers used were 3001 to 3288 except 3206, 3217 , and 3258.
