1990 MISSISSIPPI

An unusual philatelic cancel ties Mississippi the three stamps to the cover. The hand-painted cachet depicts two Snow Geese in shallow water which reflects the hues of the evening sky. Multi-colored clumps of marsh grass give the foreground dimension. The setting seems to provide the geese a quiet

sanctuary.

Serial numbers used were 5531 thru 5860 plus

5936 , 5937 , 5938 and 5939.
