1990 RHODE ISLAND

Last fall I had stopped at a local lake-front deli for coffee. At the dock were three plump and active Canadian Geese. As I approached the water they swam toward the middle of the lake in a V-formation. The surface was very calm and serene except for the gentle wake caused by the retreating trio. One looked to the left, one to the right, and one straight ahead. I committed the scene to memory for future use with a State Canada Goose stamp. A quiet marina at sunset provides the setting for this tranquil MILFORD.

Serial numbers used were 5401 to 5736 except

5734 and 5735.
