1993 MARYLAND

A beautiful pictorial cancellation adds a f ine philatelic tone to this MILFORD Cover. With its sailing on the Chesapeake Bay theme, it ties the new duck stamp and the twinflower wildflower to the cover. The hand-painted cachet features a canvasback duck framed by the golden leaves of autumn foliage.

Serial numbers used were 2227 1 to 22493 except for 284, 289, and 473. The numbers are on tabs and may be difficult to read due to postmark.
