Small Barn

Heidi enjoys the afternoon sun

Each day, unless the weather is really harsh, Heidi, the Saint Bernard, makes her way down to the mailbox to greet the postal van. On warrn days, the big, lovable dog will linger in the open area to enjoy the sun. One of the farm's small barns provides a pleasing backdrop, and a chickadee tenuously rests on the mailbox post being wary ofthe family pet. Essential buildings such as small barns, sheds, coops, a sugar shack, mill pond grist mill, and a sawmill are located throughout the farm. On the distant horizon, a keen-eyed observer will spot a neighbor's barn and silo.
