AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL - MOUNTAINS 

As I've mentioned in the past, hand-painted postcard First Day Covers are very scarce. Very few are made. As such, this COLLINS will be an excellent addition to your collection.

A mountain goat traverses a rocky trail along sheer cliffs. The tree line is just below and the goat looks back at a circling bald eagle. A blue ribbon snakes across a deep wooded valley as the sun shines brightly on a distant river. Snow capped mountains complete the vista.

A nice "mountain theme" pictorial cancel ties the stamp which features four Canadian geese flying past mountain peaks.
